How long do you have to live on campus at WKU?
All full-time undergraduate students are required to live on campus for two years. Students who have not lived on campus for two years who choose to live off campus will be charged the lowest residence hall rate that HRL offers.

How do I get into WKU?
The established undergraduate admission requirements for students with 0-24 credit hours state that ONE of the following must be met:
- ACT composite of 20 or greater.
- SAT combined score of 1020 or greater.
- Minimum high school GPA of 2.50.
- Achieve the required Composite Admission Index (CAI) score.
Who gets in-state tuition at WKU?
Full-time, first-time freshmen who are residents of any state that borders Kentucky can attend WKU for the in-state tuition rate. This scholarship will lower the tuition cost by nearly 60% for most students, and students can still stack on other institutional scholarships to further reduce cost.

The Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) allows out-of-state students who qualify for any WKU scholarship to receive a discount of nearly 50% off the out-of-state tuition rate. To qualify for this automatic award, a student must be a full-time, first-time freshman entering WKU in fall 2021 or later.
