Case is a liitle different, 47 uses a larger torque converter, 46 OD clutch as 4 discs 47 has 5, 46 direct clutch uses 8 discs, 47 has 10 disc, 46 has 3 discs in the front clutch, the 47 uses 4. There are other differences too, but they are teh big ones. Id look for a 00 to 02 47.
